The Black Beach / Traigh na Cille
The original Gaelic name is Traigh na Cille, is one of the island's less well known beaches, so you can be almost guaranteed to have it to yourself. It can be found in a secluded spot on the west coast of Mull, not far from Torloisk. The beach is named after the colour of the sand, ground from Basalt.
An excellent beach to visit when the tide is coming in, as it warms up the incoming water very quickly. Close by are Lipnacloiche Gardens
