Scottish Island Cruises – St Hilda Sea Adventures
St. Hilda Sea Adventures provides a cruising and wildlife holiday on the beautiful west coast of Scotland in the Inner and Outer Hebrides.
Their small ships, St Hilda and Seahorse II, anchor in the most sheltered, idyllic places. Passengers can visit distilleries, world famous islands such as St Kilda, Isle of Skye, Mull, Jura, Islay, Staffa and Iona, watch the wildlife, go fishing or swim in the sea lochs. Dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, otters, and many species of birds are regularly seen and even the occasional Minke whale.
Each day is as action packed or as relaxing as you please. The roomy deck saloon is where everyone dines and socialises. The outdoor decks are perfect for spotting wildlife and relaxing and eating al fresco when the boat is at anchor.
On St Hilda youngsters and adults love having a shot at hauling up the sails, setting the jib, main and mizzen and raising the anchor. On Seahorse II there is plenty of room on deck to carry canoes, windsurfers or cycles if you wish to bring your own. The boat tenders can also take you ashore or to explore shallow waters and responsibly approach the wildlife.
