Salen Dunaros Hospital

Salen Dunaros Hospital

The original hospital in Salen was built in the 1960′s to serve the population of the island.

The present day building was converted from an old people’s home in the 1980′s and there are still a number of residential beds. Minor injuries can be treated here. A grass airfield was built in 1965 by the Royal Engineers a mile away at Glenforsa for use of an air ambulance. For more information on the airfield click here.
