4 HR WHALEWATCH TRIP
Departs daily from Tobermory pontoon at 11.30 for a 4 hour cruise.
£50: adults and children.
Minke Whales are mostly seen out of the Sound of Mull in open seas and one of the best feeding grounds to spot them is around the waters of the Isle of Coll. Occasional cetaceans such as Orca (killer whale) are also seen. Under the water teems with marine life because the seas around Tiree & Coll are warmed by the Gulf Stream. The entire area is renowned for its extraordinary diversity of wildlife, birds and scenery with the seas in particular being amongst the richest for cetaceans in Europe. You will be visiting some of the most unspoilt and unpolluted waters in the world.
Make sure you wrap up warm, even on sunny days, to be able to take advantage of seeing the beautiful unspoilt waters of the West coast of Scotland at its very best and at close hand.
