Tigh air Creag (House on Rock) sits above Dervaig looking out to Coll & Tiree and is available to rent all year round.

This spacious split level property has been built to a high specification making it ideal both for the colder months as well as summer.  It has gas central heating and a multifuel stove, whilst the special double glazing keeps in generated and solar heat. Gas and electricity are provided along with Free-sat TV, DVD, radio, WiFi, cot, highchair, firewood, bed linen (please bring your own cot bedding), towels and most cleaning materials.

Accommodating 6 + 2 + cot (and high chair) there are three bedrooms and the two en-suite shower rooms and family bathroom are all to a deluxe standard with Formica clad wall panelling.   There are also a fully equipped kitchen and separate utility room with fridge, freezer, washing up machine, washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities.   The property has a large garage with an electronic up and over door for secure storage of bikes/canoes etc. and off street parking for at least two vehicles.   The garden is fenced and includes a small patio with outside seating for 8.

Dervaig village has a well stocked and well run village shop + cafe and the village inn, the oldest on the island, offers good menus (booking a table is recommended) and bar facilities.   There are several more good eating establishments within easy reach and the town of Tobermory is about 8 miles away. The beautiful sands of Calgary bay are just 15 minutes by car and there are numerous cycling and walking opportunities close to hand.   Where ever you go in Mull you are never short of a photo opportunity and wildlife is abundant both on the island and in the surrounding seas.  Stags have been known to visit the garden and peer in through windows and buzzards, kites, owls and herons have also been seen in the adjoining grounds.

The weekly high season rate is up to £695 per week and low season up to £595 with some low occupancy and multiple-week discounts applicable.   Short breaks may also be available on request.  Pets can be accommodated, by negotiation, at a small extra charge providing their owners are well behaved.   We regret that we do not cater for single sex parties and the house is very definitely non smoking.

A deposit of £100 per week booked is required at time of booking – the deposit is non-refundable the balance is to be paid two months before the start of the holiday.
